Our restaurant patrons have very discerning tastes and are usually well versed in the art of North Indian food, especially our Chicago Indian foodies.  Given this high level of foodie intelligence, we appreciate future prospective Standard India Restaurant team members to have a thorough understanding of North Indian food preparation basics as well as its historical context.  Indian food is one of the most complicated cuisines available and our team members need to be thoroughly versed in the art of Indian food cooking, its methods as well as the variety of spices that are utilized.

In addition, our patrons are extremely diverse.  Some are frequent diners of Indian food, others are new to the cuisine.  Some have lived or travelled to India.  Others are contemplating visiting India.  Some of our non-Indian patrons prepare Indian food in their homes.  Others love eating at our restaurant as much as they can.  The moral of the aforementioned, is that Standard India Restaurant is extremely sensitive to our customers' needs and places great emphasis on ensuring for a wonderfully memorable dining experience.
